TheFA Whistleblowing Policy
If you have reported a safeguarding concern about a child at risk and feel that it has not be dealt with correctly, then there are a number of organisations you can and should escalate your concern to. This is the same is you wish to raise a concern around the behaviour or actions of someone which could lead to potential repercussions against you within our club environment, This whistleblowing policy affords you the chance to get the correct outcome without the risk of it coming back on you from within the club.
Any adult or young person with concerns about a colleague can also use whistle-blowing by calling 0800 169 1863 and asking for The FA’s safeguarding team, or via email on safeguarding@TheFA.com.
Alternatively you can go direct the Police or Children’s Social Care and report your concerns there, or to the Child Protection in Sport Unit via CPSU or the NSPCC Helpline via 0808 800 5000 or by emailing them here.
